The American conductor and composer, Leonard Bernstein, said that art “can name the un-nameable and communicate the unknowable.”   Every day, in the studio, the gallery, the classroom, the concert hall and the theatre, our Rowan University students and faculty are expressing the un-nameable and the unknowable in exhilarating new ways.  In Wilson Hall, you’ll hear world renowned faculty members collaborating with students in a performance of jazz standards arranged for baritone sax and various and unusual percussion instruments; in Tohill Auditorium you’ll experience a celebrated director bringing a comic masterpiece to the stage; and in the Rowan University Gallery you can enjoy a gallery talk by an acclaimed printmaker showcasing monotypes and paintings, discussing his visual expression of nature.  Whatever the case, our venues are always filled with eager observers awaiting the next exuberant twist in the road.  I invite you to Picture Yourself Here!
